Graves’ disease is considered as an autoimmune disease that can cause our thyroid gland produce excess thyroid hormones. This condition is called as hyperthyroidism. SYMPTOMS


There are so many symptoms that are related with the Graves' Disease. Among them are Anxiety and irritability, Weight loss, Enlargement of your thyroid gland (goiter), Erectile dysfunction or reduced libido, Frequent bowel movements, Bulging eyes (Graves' ophthalmopathy), and Rapid or irregular heartbeat (palpitations). CAUSES


The Graves Disease is caused by an abnormal response of our immune system. This abnormal response make thyroid gland producing excessive thyroid hormone, which is called as hyperthyroidism. This disease is seemingly more common in women at the age of over 20. However, this disorder can occur at any age. Not only happen at women, this condition also can happen to men as well.
