The chance of miscarriage in pregnancy is 10 to 20 percent of all pregnancy and around 80 percent of miscarriage event happen before 12 weeks of pregnancy. Although some people say so, but miscarriage is not caused by moderate exercise, sex, or coffe. The most possible cause of miscarriage would be a chromosomal or genetic abnormality in the embryo. There are many other risk factors that may contributing to the miscarriage including drug abuse, smoking habit, excessive alcohol consumption, and maternal trauma.
