CAUSES


Myopia happen because eyeball is too long or the cornea is too curved. Because of this condition, the incoming light to the eye can not be focused correctly, so that distant object can not be seen clearly. The exact cause of myopia is unknown, but it is believed that myopia is a inherited condition. However, people without inherited factors can also develop myopia if they use their eyes excessively to read, working at the computer, or watching TV.
