CAUSES
Cervical cancer is merely caused by virus which called Human papillomavirus or HPV especially HPV strain 16 and 18. There are many type of HPV and not all of them can cause the cervical cancer. This HPV virus can infecter the cervix. If viral infection happen persistently, then the chance of getting cervical cancer is greater and greater.
