CAUSES
This disorder of constipation is caused by excess water absorbing from the stools by the colon. This excess absorbment will cause become hard and dry. The over absorbed of the water by the colon happen because the stools stay in the colon longer than normal. The risk factor that may increase the chance of getting constipation are not having enough fibre in our food, change of eating habits, postpone the urge to pass stools, not drinking enough fluids, and also anxiety or depression.
