CAUSES


The main cause of tooth decay is due to bacterial activities around the teeth. This activities can make the tooth getting breakdown. The hard tissues that can be breakdown due to bacterial activities are enamel, dentin, and cementum. This breakdown happen because of acid formation from sugar or food debris.
